2022-
Youth Services Network / Case Manager
I am a case worker with a social service non-profit in Rockford, Illinois. I manage delinquency cases for youth on probation by assisting with action plans and rehabilitation. My favorite part is facilitating group life-skills courses with teens and young adults.

2015-2019
Youth Empowerment Project
An 8-year old New Orleans non-profit, this dynamic team of individuals work closely in order to guide and provide opportunities for local youth. As shop manager, I scheduled and trained our 16-24 yr-old employees in life skills and customer service. Facilitating their peer mentoring group on social awareness was the most fulfilling part of this job.

Assistant Dean of Students
Cohen College Prep is an Uptown New Orleans high/middle school. They Pride themselves on active culture and community outreach. I was a disciplinarian for the seventh and eighth grades.

2012-2014
Substitute / Paraprofessional
Though I was assigned to one particular student, regularly attending 7th grade classes at Lincoln Middle School was a valuable experience. I became a useful presence by assisting, subtly redirecting, and/or removing students.

English Teacher
The first full class I taught was at a private school in Amiens, France. I helped implement an interactive English speaking curriculum for 5th-8th grade classes. This role was paired with an in-home English tutoring position with Les Petits Bilingues. I traveled the city doing personal tutoring sessions with a schedule of kids in their homes after school.

Instructional Design

Multimedia Psychology
Understanding How Minds Engage with Media to Design with Purpose
Through studying how people process visuals, audio, and interactivity, I’ve learned to create content that respects cognitive load, captures attention, and boosts retention. I now apply these insights to craft emotionally aware, engaging learning experiences.

Course Design
From Blueprint to Impact: Designing Learning That Sticks
Drawing from models like ADDIE, I’ve learned to design courses that are both functional and transformative. My projects center on clarity, inclusivity, and relevance, blending structure with empathy.

Research Analysis
Making Meaning from Data to Drive Equity and Innovation
I’ve developed skills in literature review, qualitative coding, and impact analysis. Whether evaluating a youth program or designing stakeholder surveys, I use data to shape solutions that respond to real needs.
